Attached to verso is a clipping of the February 9, 1966 published version of this photograph in The NIH Record. The published version has been cropped, resulting in the omission of the original photograph's two leftmost subjects, a man and the only woman fully pictured. The caption of the published version identifies all of the attendees pictured in the cropped version and mentions at the end that two council members, Dr. Michael E. DeBakey and Dr. Mary I. Bunting, the latter of Radcliffe College, "were not available for the picture taking."
