Subject: A crew of servicemen carries a wounded soldier on a stretcher from the back of a U.S. army ambulance toward the doorway of a building. Above the doorway hangs a sign that reads "receiving office." Other men observe from second story windows and from the courtyard in front of the hospital.

Title continues: ... This new 1000 bed hospital, the first U.S. Army hospital in the area, is equipped with medical equipment direct from the United States. Army doctors and nurses in the hospital are all from the University of Texas medical school.
