Physical Description:
1 photomechanical print (poster) : col. ; 72 x 51 cm.
Image Description:
Multicolor poster with black and white lettering. Four-panel illustration at top of poster shows the effect of cigarette smoke on lung tissue. Dominant visual image is an illustration of a man sitting on the edge of his bed coughing as he smokes. A hand reaches into the scene offering a piece of paper that appears to be a prescription to stop smoking. Title near the man's head. Title appears to address a "smoker's cough" and indicate that the "flickerhairs" (cilia?) are not able to fully take care of the cough. It also appears to urge consideration or reflection. Another four-panel illustration near the bottom of the poster shows the progression of lung cancer. Publisher information at bottom of poster.
