Donald Whedon, Richard Krause, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Donald S. Fredrickson, director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Ruth Kirschstein, director of the National Institute of General Medical Sciences, and Donald B.Tower, director of the National Institute for Neurological and Communicative Disorders and Stroke. They are participating in the Senate's labor and health appropriations subcommitte hearing. People are sitting against the walls. Two chandeliers are above the table.
