Each of the seven points raised about anti-discriminatory policy related to the protection of people living with HIV in the workplace is illustrated with a lavender icon. The seven points are: 1) AIDS education should be provided on-site; 2) HIV testing of employees is not required; 3) HIV status should be kept confidential; 4) employees with HIV/AIDS are not obligated to disclose status to employer; 5) HIV infection is not a cause for dismissal; 6) employees infected with HIV should be protected from discrimination; and 7) if an employee is impaired by illness related to HIV, alternative arrangements should be made to keep the employee employed. At the bottom appear the hotline number and logo of the AIDS Unit, Department of Health.
