Image Description:
International Red Aid. It's where it's needed. This poster of the Spanish Civil War has a member of the International Red Aid studying a map of Spain. The soldier is wearing the traditional militia blue boiler suit. Behind the soldier is the insignia of SRI: a handkerchief with an 'S' for socorro poking through prison bars. To the right of the soldier are crates inscribed with SRI and labeled for contents: milk, coats, cotton, medications, sanitation, clothes, blankets, and foodstuffs. There are SRI buses and a hospital.
