Subject: Political satire on the Reform Bill, showing various contemporary political figures in a drawing room. One man, Sir Charles Wetherell disguised as an invalid, reclines and laughs in an arm chair while other men, other political figures of the day, including one dressed as a woman, surround or approach him. A dialog bubble above Wetherell includes a discussion of approaching death and a reference to a bottle with the label "Russell's Purge" that sits on a commode in the middle of the room.
