Image Description:
Two-sided poster. Side one shows a young girl standing at a sink, looking in a cracked mirror, and holding a sack with cocaine written on it. The title, caption, sponsoring bodies, and artist are at the bottom of the poster. Side two is divided into eight sections, two rows with four sections each. The sections are designed to be teaching aids used in a classroom to educate the students about the dangers of drugs and drug addiction. The titles of the sections include: Letter to the teacher; For the teachers only; Messed-up messages; Path in a healthy future; Drugs change your brain; Cause and effect; Stop toxic effects; and Remember your brain. The sections have activities such as a cross word puzzle, a fill in the blank, etc., designed to show the students how adversly drugs can affect their minds as well as the rest of their bodies.
