They include: washing hands; flies and insects; covering the baby carriage with a net; covering food; and wearing a mask to keep the baby from catching the mother's cold. The bottom portion of the poster addresses the topic of immunization against smallpox, diphtheria, whooping cough, scarlet fever, and tetanus. A photograph of man in a suit cradling an infant in his ams appears at the bottom of the poster.
