The top section covers the entire width of the poster and shows a soldier seated on a stool with his head in his hand, seated before five military officers who are seated behind a long desk. Two guards are standing behind the seated soldier and a judge and person taking notes are to his right. The lower left image shows a woman, hugging an old woman with a young woman, probably a nurse, watching them. There is a military hospital in the background and a man on crutches walking towards the hospital. A man with a cane is standing facing the back of the old woman. The lower right image shows a man lying on a path with a wine bottle near one hand and his sword near his other hand. A soldier with a sword in one hand and a lantern in the other is approaching him. There are numbers printed on the poster--no. 24A with a line through it in the upper right corner and No 424A below it, and the hand printed 404 at the bottom right of the linen backed paper.
