On his left are three small images depicting ways a sick person can directly spread the disease through nasal and oral disharge. On his right are three small images showing indirect ways of spreading the disease through dishes, clothes and contaminated dust. Below the man is a small round picture of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. At the bottom of the poster are three lines of text that describe methods of prevention: fresh air, sunshine, isolation of the sick, good nutrition, no spitting on the ground, and exercise.
